中国福州的Guigu水疗中心
This Spa In China Mixes Traditional And Contemporary Design Elements
The Guigu SPA Pavilion in Fuzhou, China, is all about giving the best experience possible, and part of that is ensuring the design is welcoming and makes people feel comfortable.
Designed by Lin Kaixin Design, the spa combines materials like wood and stone to create a spa that is contemporary, with elements of tradition and culture that feel familiar.
The reception area has a large desk, with the stone contrasting the wooden feature wall.
The reception area is flooded with natural light from the large windows, but at the same time, the wooden slats provide a shaded element.
Opposite the reception desk is the lounge area.
A lighter colored stone has been used as a feature material, and smaller design elements, like hidden lighting under the floating shelves have also been included.
Here you can see how the reception area and lounge are connected.
The wood used throughout, softens the interior and provides a natural element.
In the various private spa rooms, the wooden element is carried through, with the chairs, tables, lights, and sink pedestals, all being made from the same material.
Here’s a look at one of the massage rooms.
And one of the bathroom that has a soaking tub.
